Arrive at Chandigarh or Delhi airport and drive to Shimla, one of the most popular hill resorts in the North. The town, situated at an altitude of 6,810 feet, was initially chosen as a sanatorium for invalid European officers but soon developed into a large hill town and became the summer capital of the country. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Shimla. Visit Kufri, Ridge Maidan, Mall Road, and Christ Church. Overnight stay in Shimla.
After breakfast, proceed to Manali, a popular hill station in northern India, known for its cool climate and adventure sports like skiing, hiking, and paragliding. En route, visit Hanogi Mata Temple. Overnight stay in Manali.
Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, and Rohtang Pass (up to the Snow Line if Rohtang is closed due to snowfall). In the evening, visit the Buddhist Monastery, Hadimba Devi Temple, and Vashisht. At Vashisht, relax in the natural sulfur hot springs. Overnight stay in Manali.
After breakfast, proceed to Dharamshala. En route, visit Chamunda Devi Temple. Check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
After breakfast, visit the Buddhist Monastery and Bhagsunag Temple. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Dharamshala. Later, drive to Dalhousie and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
After breakfast, visit Khajjiar (often closed in December-January due to heavy snow), known as ‘Mini Switzerland,’ along with Kalatop, Satdhara, and Gandhi Chowk. Evening free. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Chandigarh. On arrival, you will be dropped at the airport/railway station for your onward journey home.

FAQ's

The best time to visit Manali is from October to February for pleasant weather and potential snowfall. If you prefer milder temperatures, March to June is more suitable.
To reach Shimla, Kullu, or Manali, road travel is the only option, either by private vehicle or shared transfers from Delhi or Chandigarh after arriving from Mumbai.
Kullu and Manali are best explored in a 3-day itinerary, with 2 days allocated for Manali and 1 day for exploring Kullu. For a more leisurely experience, allowing time to relax and enjoy the mountain air, consider extending your stay to 4 or 5 days.
In Shimla, tourists should purchase handicrafts, woolens, traditional items, wooden crafts, jewelry, and Himachali hats. Also, explore different Shimla packages for trips to the area.
During the summer months, tourists can have a great time in Solang Valley with activities like paragliding, zorbing, and horse riding.
