From the pretty valley, we’re heading to the bustling town of Paro next. After about 3 and a half hours, arrive in the charming Paro town, nestled at 2,200 meters above sea level. Paro valley is the largest valley in all of Bhutan and boasts stunning natural beauty, lush rice fields, deep valleys, and a sparkling river. The breathtaking sight of the mountains, blue sky, and thick forests filled with singing birds might capture your heart at first sight. After lunch, explore the sights of Paro.

From the valley, let’s head to Chela-La-Pass after breakfast. It’s just a short drive from Paro town and offers panoramic views of Mt. Jomolhari and other snow-capped peaks. The winding roads, green valleys, and breathtaking scenery will keep everyone captivated.

River rafting can be enjoyed in Punakha on the Pho Chu River which has a 16 Km course stretch with about 15 rapids, and Mo Chu River with nearly 10 Km course around 10 rapids.
